Hope Barrera is a Native San Antonian, born and raised on the Southside of San Antonio. She retired from the City of San Antonio after 38 years of service in the Economic Development Department. Barrera is an asset to The Gonzaba Foundation’s Board of Directors because she continues to advocate for seniors in her community, encourages older adults to vote, and, as a senior herself, assists in the development of programming at several Southside Catholic churches.
