The senior grass buster program is designed to provide grass-cutting services to senior citizens age 65+ in San Antonio, Texas who have received a formal warning or code violation. This program focuses on supporting older adults who are unable to maintain their lawn. Our goal is to help prevent the emotional and financial burden of violation fines or fee for overgrown grass.

This program is a first-come-first serve basis. A formal application must be submitted to The Gonzaba Foundation, and a copy or proof of the citation is required for eligibility. Grass services will be scheduled within the 10-day period stated, or the assigned date according to the citation or violation. These services are provided on a volunteer basis. This program is not intended for tree or shrub cutting, bulk and/or trash removal, or any type of gardening or exterior home maintenance.

Senior MUST have received a violation from The City of San Antonio Code Compliance Department. Senior must be age 65+ to qualify for this program.

If you have been given a violation or warning from the City of San Antonio for overgrown grass, please call us at (210) 640-9400 for more information on application periods and eligibility.
