SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio Councilwoman has announced her initiative to help reduce code violations on Elderly and Disabled adults.
Councilwoman Marina Alderete Gavito of District 7 gave a press conference on Wednesday at the front steps of City Hall, highlighting programs in place to reduce code violations for elderly and disabled people.
The conference was held with the support of the Gonzaba Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing resources to seniors across San Antonio.
Gavito highlighted the recently adopted $100,000 Senior Assistance Pilot Program that aims to assist older adults and the disabled from being cited for code violations.
